Army Command Senior PersonnelThis is a list of senior serving British or UK personnel in the armed forces, broken down by commands. By snior I mean OF-6 and above although in some cases I add important OF-5 officers. References are not included due to pdf space but drawn from the public domain especially from FOI requests, the London Gazette, How Defence Works, the Navy Directory, RAF Senior Appointments, MOD organograms – staff roles and salaries and the DE&S Organisation Chart. If there are any missing personnel or if I added civil servants by mistake, please inform me at hmarmedforcesreview [at] gmail [dot] com.
Note: Unlike other websites, I include reservist officers from and those from medical, legal, provost branches, reservists and acting officers and will update this more regularly than they do. The fact that these other websites refuse to list such officers is a deep insult to these officers. Reservists are marked in red.
All information is correct as of 11 May 2024.
Note: The British MOD is not always forthcoming with releasing data on senior personnel accurately through FOIA requests. Also some personnel are not listed or their appointments not stated as they hold sensitive appointments. See DSMA Notice 5.
I will attempt to arrange personnel according to reporting chain but the various MOD open sources do not do so nor do they often state via FOIA answers.
